Reuben Elphinston
Reuben Elphinston completed his schooling career in Birmingham and proceeded to obtain a first-class law degree from the University of Leeds.
Following his studies, he gained professional experience, working for both the Bishop of Birmingham as an Executive Assistant and law firm Mills & Reeve LLP as a Legal Assistant and Marketing Assistant.
These experiences instilled core skills including; rigorous administrative skills, attention for detail, problem solving, time management, adaptability and resilience. During Autumn 2024, he spent 3 months in Grenoble, France, studying French and obtained a B2 level, offering an essential base of understanding of the French language. Something he looks to continuously improve upon by drawing upon his disciplined and motivated approach.
As a keen sportsman and tennis enthusiast, he became chairman of his local tennis club in Birmingham, leading the club and its vision for 2 years. This offered valuable insight into the running of a business, offering experience in the managing of legal matters, accounting, marketing, relationship management and most significantly project management. As a keen entrepreneur, this experience was highly valuable and is something he looks to learn from for future ventures. In December 2024, Reuben had the opportunity to continue his professional development by joining ABC Translation as Tender and Bids Manager.
