Astghik Mkrtchyan

Astghik Mkrtchyan joins the ABC team as a highly adaptable and multilingual Project Manager, bringing a wealth of international experience and a passion for cross-cultural communication. Born into an Armenian family but raised in Ukraine, Astghik’s background has instilled in her a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and a natural aptitude for languages.

Having recently relocated to France due to the war in Ukraine, she has quickly adapted to a new environment, demonstrating her resilience and resourcefulness.

Astghik is fluent in five languages – English, French, Ukrainian, Armenian, and Russian – and possesses an unwavering commitment to expanding her linguistic repertoire. This passion for languages is complemented by her love for travel and immersing herself in new cultures, a dream she is now realizing through her move to France and subsequent travels. Her desire to work in a field where she can utilize her language skills makes her a good fit for ABC Translation.

Academically, Astghik is well-prepared for her role. She holds two bachelor’s degrees: one in International Relations and Communication, and another in English Language and Literature, both completed in 2024. These academic achievements have equipped her with a strong theoretical foundation in international affairs, communication strategies, and linguistic proficiency. Prior to joining ABC Translation, Astghik gained diverse professional experiences. Her roles included working as a translator, creating presentations, and assisting students with their studies. She also completed an intership as an Assistant in co-ownership management at Foncia.

Beyond her professional and academic pursuits, Astghik is known for her compassionate nature and love for animals. She has recently discovered a passion for horse riding, adding another dimension to her multifaceted personality. In her leisure time, she enjoys watching movies, further broadening her understanding of different narratives and cultures.

In her role as Project Manager, Astghik is eager to leverage her skills to meet and exceed client expectations. She is committed to continuous professional and personal growth and is excited about the opportunity to contribute to the ABC team’s success. Her proactive approach, combined with her linguistic abilities and cross-cultural understanding, positions her as a valuable asset to the company. Astghik’s enthusiasm for learning, coupled with her strong communication skills, ensures that she will effectively manage projects and foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
